TOD early CRC. What you need to know is the platform’s main programme. It is a highly specialised virtual training course that provides theoretical knowledge and multiple tips and tricks to implement optical diagnosis of early CRC in clinical practice.

TOD early CRC. Practical knowledge complements TOD early CRC. What you need to know to join online meetings in small groups with an endoscopist of the course Faculty to clarify doubts and highlight the key points (Sharing knowledge I and II) or one-to-one sessions to discuss findings of colorectal lesions found in the participant’s clinical practice (Training in Clinical Practice).

Scientific evidence of optical diagnosis with zoom or magnification in Japanese reference centres has shown high effectiveness in predicting the histology and, therefore, selecting the indication for advanced endoscopy treatments (such as submucosal endoscopic dissection, piecemeal, endoscopic mucosal resection) and surgery.

TOD early CRC platform aims to improve optical diagnosis of early colorectal cancer and estimate the histology in lesions found during a colonoscopy so that, based on the colonoscopy report, the endoscopist and a multidisciplinary committee may make a treatment decision considering other patient-related and local factors.

The content of the platform is aligned with the recommendations of international guidelines such as ESGE, ASGE, and JGES. This might help homogenise and centralise advanced procedures to offer optimal treatment to each patient.

TOD early CRC. Practical knowledge

Available live-stream meetings for each module are displayed in a calendar. Participants can choose language (English or Spanish), date and time. Registration closes when places run out or 10 days before the meeting. Reservation can be cancelled at least 10 days before the meeting.

Module 1. Sharing knowledge I

Includes doubts and key points of Modules 1-5 of the course TOD early CRC. What you need to know are clarified. A video of a meeting is displayed, showing the dynamics of the meeting and examples of topics discussed. The participant must choose one of the available days in order to have a live stream meeting with up to 7 more participants and an endoscopist of the course Faculty to clarify doubts and highlight the key points.

Sharing knowledge I is generally held on the third Friday and Saturday of each month at 4 PM Central European Time, subject to availability.

Module 2. Sharing knowledge II

The same methodology and aims as the previous module for Modules 6-10 of the course TOD early CRC. What you need to know.

Sharing knowledge II is generally held on the first Friday and Saturday of each month at 4 PM Central European Time, subject to availability.

Module 3. Training in clinical practice

In this module, participants clarify doubts, stress key points and discuss main difficulties in implementing optical diagnosis in clinical practice after having received all the theoretical knowledge in a previous course. Videos of two meetings are displayed, showing the dynamics of the meeting and examples of topics discussed. The participant discusses with the tutor in a 30-minute individual meeting the images/videos of three lesions assessed in their usual clinical practice

Participants can choose a Training in clinical practice slot from multiple dates and times available.
