El Dr.\u00a0Jo\u00e3o\u00a0Da\u00a0Costa, investigador del Gastrointestinal\u00a0Oncology,\u00a0Endoscopy\u00a0and Surgery\u00a0(GOES)\u00a0research\u00a0group, present\u00f3, en el marco de la 25\u00aa Reuni\u00f3n anual de la\u00a0Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola\u00a0de\u00a0Gastroenterolog\u00eda\u00a0celebrada en Madrid, el proyecto\u00a0Web-based Learning module to increase the accuracy of Optical Diagnosis for detecting the Invasive Pattern of colorectal polyps (LODIP study)<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La presentaci\u00f3n ha dado el pistoletazo de salida a la primera fase del estudio, durante la cual se realiza el reclutamiento de los digest\u00f3logos que participar\u00e1n a nivel estatal.\u00a0Pueden participar en el LODIP study gastroenter\u00f3logos que hayan finalizado o finalicen la residencia entre el 2018 y el 2023, ambos a\u00f1os incluidos<\/strong>. A fecha de hoy, ya se han inscrito 110 digest\u00f3logos del 166 necesarios para llevar a cabo el estudio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El LODIP study es una iniciativa del GOES research group dirigida por el Dr. Ignasi Puig. Los doctores Da Costa, Marco Antonio \u00c1lvarez y Maria Pellis\u00e9 son los coordinadores. El proyecto cuenta con la financiaci\u00f3n de la Fundaci\u00f3 La Marat\u00f3 de TV3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cu\u00e1l es el objetivo del LODIP study?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se trata de un estudio de validaci\u00f3n que tiene como objetivo medir la sensibilidad del diagn\u00f3stico \u00f3ptico para predecir la invasi\u00f3n profunda en p\u00f3lipos colorrectales evaluados en colonoscopias realizadas en la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica habitual durante un a\u00f1o.
